Finalists Announced - Ladies Rally Scholarship 2007

The Six Finalists In The Rally Connection 2007 Scholarship19th September 2007.

After 2 rounds of the Rallyconnection Ladies Scholarship, we have finally got down to the last 6. These finalists were judged on a combination of attitude, speed and ability. It was a difficult decision to make as many of the contenders were of similar ability. The final will hopefully be run near the end of next month.

The finalists are:
Amy Kirwan, from Carlow. Amy is 23 and works as Banking Administrator - her hobbies include a keen interest in motorsport and travel.

Martina Kenny from Oldcastle, Co. Meath. Martina is a 22-year-old apprentice Carpenter - her hobbies include Motorsport and water skiing.

Elizabeth Williams from Rathdowney, Co. Laois. Elizabeth is 28 and works as a Painter - her hobbies include car maintenance and repair and has a keen interest in Art.

Laura Greene from Dungloe, Co Donegal. Laura is 20 and works as a Lifeguard. Her hobbies include stock car racing, rallying and Irish dancing.

Tonya Fortune from Wexford Town. Tonya is a 20 year old Credit Union Teller. Her hobbies include horse riding and rallying - she is also a member of Wexford Motor Club.

Triona Kelly from Gort, Co. Galway. Triona is a 24-year-old Nurse. Her hobbies are "anything as long as it's Motorsport."
